System Application Engineer

Flodraulic Motion Systems is looking for a SYSTEM APPLICATION ENGINEER for its headquarters in Borgonuovo di Sasso Marconi (BO).

The company is part of the FLODRAULIC GROUP – www.flodrauliceurope.com – and operates in the hydraulic systems sector as a system integrator for mobile applications in Italy and across Europe.

The selected candidate will join the Technical Department, where they will be supported and trained in designing hydraulic schematics and defining components for complete hydraulic systems.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze customer technical specifications

• Conduct feasibility studies and define technical solutions optimized in terms of performance and cost:
  a) Use calculation tools to simulate pressure losses and system performance
  b) Prepare cost estimates for alternative technical solutions in terms of hydraulic circuits and components

• Create hydraulic schematics and bills of materials using CAD software

• Support internal functional testing and system commissioning

• Provide technical support during after-sales service

Key requirements:

• Technical education background

• Ability to work in diverse teams

• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

• Open-mindedness, creativity, and passion

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems

• Familiarity with materials and main certifications

• Previous experience, even short-term, in companies in the hydraulic sector (component manufacturers, system integrators for industrial or mobile applications)
